Comparison brief
Capital One Savor vs. SavorOne
Short answer: if you can qualify for the Savor, the catalog models it at nearly the same rates as SavorOne for $39 less. Both cards earn 3% cash back on dining, groceries, streaming, and entertainment, 8% on Capital One Entertainment tickets, and 5% on hotels, rental cars, and vacation rentals booked through Capital One Travel. The Savor charges $0. SavorOne for Fair Credit charges $39, and we count no credits on either card, so those are the real costs. The only earn difference is that SavorOne also pays 5% on activities booked through Capital One Travel, where the Savor pays 1%; hand-calculated, that 4-point gap recovers the $39 fee at about $975 a year of portal activities. Choose the Savor if your credit is in the good range. Choose SavorOne for Fair Credit if the Savor is out of reach: the catalog assumes a score of about 580 for SavorOne against about 670 for the Savor. Neither has a foreign transaction fee, and the top 8% and 5% rates apply only through Capital One’s own platforms. The head-to-head run below solves both cards against your own spending.
