Our mission
Credit card rewards are complicated. Issuers publish dense terms, earning rates vary by category, annual fees cloud the picture, and stacking cards introduces combinatorial complexity that no human can solve by intuition. OptimalCardSetup exists to cut through that complexity with mathematics.
We believe everyone deserves transparent, assumption-driven analysis without paying for a financial advisor and without relying on subjective "top 10" lists that ignore your actual spending.
How it works
You tell us how much you spend each month across categories like dining, groceries, travel, and gas. Our optimizer — built on the same industrial optimization technology Google uses for logistics and scheduling — models eligible card combinations and returns the strongest valid setup it finds for net rewards value (earnings minus annual fees). Each result states whether the solver proved that no better modeled setup exists or reached its time limit first.

Independence
OptimalCardSetup may earn revenue from affiliate commissions when users apply for credit cards through links on our site. These commissions are not solver inputs or ranking factors. The solver does not factor commissions into its objective function; issuer terms, eligibility, approval, and channel-specific offers control applications.
