Affiliate Disclosure

Transparency matters to us. This page explains how affiliate links work on OptimalCardSetup and how compensation is separated from the solver inputs.
What Are Affiliate Links?
Some links to credit card application pages are affiliate links. If you click a link, apply, or complete another qualifying event, we may receive compensation from the card issuer or affiliate network. The qualifying event and amount depend on the applicable program. This does not add a fee to your use of the Service. Issuer eligibility, approval decisions, current terms, and channel-specific offers control what you receive; verify those details with the issuer.
How Compensation Relates to Results
Modeled results use the selected catalog, objective, spending and redemption assumptions, constraints, and data snapshot. The solver records proof status when it can prove the modeled result within those inputs. Compensation is not a solver input or ranking factor. Issuer eligibility, approval, and current channel offers remain controlling.
Card application links may be shown after or beside modeled results, and the presence of a link does not change the recorded solver inputs. For a deeper look at the engine, see our Methodology page.
How We Earn Revenue
OptimalCardSetup currently earns revenue through Premium subscriptions and, where available, affiliate commissions:
- Premium subscriptions — paid plans for advanced features like alternative setups, what-if analysis, and custom credit valuations.
- Affiliate commissions — earned under the applicable affiliate program, which may use a click, application, approval, or another qualifying event.
Premium features extend the solver's capabilities but do not add compensation to its objective. Card links and presentation can be affected by availability; the modeled ranking is based on the stated inputs and issuer data.
Third-Party Brands
Card names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance is for identification and does not imply issuer sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.
FTC Disclosure
We disclose that OptimalCardSetup may earn compensation from affiliate partnerships or networks. This disclosure applies to pages that contain links to credit card applications.
